Hey guys! Today I left San Diego on a bus at 8 am for Ensenada. It took us about three hours due to crossing the border! They brought a dog onto the bus to sniff everyone and then they yelled out a list of names, one of them was a girl on our bus. She got taken off the bus and we had to pull over and wait for her for what seemed like forever - I think about an hour though... we never found out why that happend though. Mexico was beautiful on our way through! Parts of it looked like Greece with all the houses bunched together on top of the hills. Once we finally got to the ship we had to go through security and put our bags through one of those machines like in the airport and we had to go through the metal detectors. Then we went through various lines handing in our passport, yellow fever cards, and getting room keys and insurance cards before we got to see our rooms. It's actually A LOT bigger than I had originally thought. Deirdre and I must have brought a lot less clothes/stuff than other people because we have so much extra space to put things and most other people are complaining aka we'll have lots of room to put the things we buy :) After unpacking we all just kind of explored the ship, ate lunch, and met more people who are pretty cool. There was some kind of hold up for immigration so we're currently just waiting to embark, I can't wait!!! That's pretty much all the excitement for the day :)
